About This Spot

Stepping into Molly Butler Lodge & Restaurant is like entering a cherished mountain retreat where warmth and comfort blend effortlessly with a touch of rustic charm. Nestled in the heart of Greer, this spot hums with a quiet, inviting energy that feels both timeless and alive—the kind of place where the pace slows just enough to savor good company and thoughtfully prepared food.

The lodge-like atmosphere, accented by natural wood tones and expansive mountain views, sets a relaxed yet refined mood. Whether you settle into the cozy dining area, gather around the bar for a carefully crafted cocktail, or linger over a glass of wine in the lounge, there’s a welcoming stillness here that encourages genuine, unhurried moments.

What stands out at Molly Butler isn’t just the menu, but the way the food carries you effortlessly between comfort and creativity. Expect familiar classics with just enough twist to feel both satisfying and a little special—the kind of dishes that invite shared plates and conversations stretched long into the evening. With choices ranging from hearty fried chicken dinners to lighter salads and seasonal pasta, every bite feels like home, elevated. And don’t overlook the charming touches, like warm pumpernickel bread served at the start or a lovingly prepared berry cobbler that quietly rounds out the meal.

Behind the scenes, the attentive and genuinely friendly team creates an experience that feels personal rather than procedural. It’s clear that welcoming guests into this mountain haven and helping them feel seen and cared for is as important as the food and drink itself. As the evening unfolds, the buzz of local stories and shared smiles blends into the lodge’s fabric, making Molly Butler more than just a stop off the highway—it’s a place where people come to slow down, connect, and make memories.

Excellent service. Brittany helped us. Food was delicious & we were stuffed. Great place. Would recommend reservations though. It gets busy- for good reasons. Highly recommend.

We come here seasonally for dinner to get away from Phoenix in winter and summer. We always have a great meal and enjoy the rustic atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We had Brittany and ahe was excellent! Everyone in our party commented on her service. We can't wait for our summer trip!

Molly Butler's is a five-star experience from start to finish. Our waitress, Michelle, truly made our night. Not only did she give us fantastic food recommendations—the gravy smothered steak and the juicy hamburger were both incredible—but she also took the time to chat with us and made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find such personal and caring service. The beautiful decor and mountain views just add to the wonderful atmosphere.

We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday. Reservations are recommended because they get really busy. We waited for 45 min since we didn't have reservations but we were able to sit at the bar and order drinks. They have a great drink selection, my husband got a great Scotch. I absolutely loved the prime rib, the food and atmosphere was perfect.

We had to wait, but we made no reservations so we expected that. So while we waited we saw the elk across the way, hummingbirds, so quaint. We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and our friends 49th birthday so it was a great day. Thank you for making a great memory and celebrating with us. ????????

Great place. I’ve been here maybe half a dozen times over the last 10 years. Recently got the XD burger. (It’s a few bucks more than the regular one but well worth it !!!!). It’s locally ranched beef. Absolutely amazing! It was very great quality beef and it came on a nice brioche bun! My fiancé and I both had great meals and the people are very friendly!

We love eating at Molly Butler Lodge! The steaks and the prime rib are the best. Oh… and the Hot Dang Chili will clean out your sinuses, because it is HOT and DELICIOUS! Went here for my birthday celebration and Kaleigh was our waitress. She was very pleasant and accommodating.

My husband and I really liked this place, the only thing was that they had a group of like 30 bikers show up when we came in, so we were neglected a little bit, which is understandable. The food was pretty decent- Prices are OK, the atmosphere is great cabin Mountain feel restaurant. Just wish it wasn’t as busy!
